Gotlandsbolaget is paving the way for vibrant communities where people can meet, live and work, and in doing so, we want to help create sustainable transportation, meeting places and new experiences. Getting there requires clear goals and significant effort, now and for a long time to come. Through the Destination Zero initiative, our journey towards net-zero emissions, we are working to reduce emissions where we operate.
Destination Zero is our most important journey, and the ambition is for this work to permeate all of the Group’s operations. Through investments spanning multiple areas, both on land and at sea, Gotlandsbolaget contributes to the transition that the climate and our society needs. The first target is for all of our ferry and cruise traffic to be climate neutral by no later than 2045.
The ongoing work includes investments in next-generation technology and fuels, infrastructure for green energy, and long-term development of our destinations. With Destination Zero, we continue our long tradition of social responsibility and our long-term commitment to strengthening and growing our local region.
